Daycare workers charged over video of toddler scared of doll

Two Kentucky daycare workers have been charged after a video surfaced that shows one of them scaring a toddler with a doll. Wendy’s Wonderland worker Tasha Cox is accused of filming Diana Willett waiving a doll at a 2-year-old girl who has a fear of dolls. The video was shared on Facebook and shows the girl hiding under a table, crying and shoving the doll away. The duo were arrested Monday.

I will never understand people’s need to post incriminating things to social media.

At what age does it become funny to scare kids with their irrational fears. Asking for a friend....

If you put your kid in a day care and you do not show up at odd times unannounced at least once a month and stick around for at least a couple of hours you are a fool.

Its people like these that look after kids. No wonder this daycare generation is fucked up.

Not having seen the video I am genuinely sure that they were probably attempting to alleviate (poorly) the girls fear of dolls. I don't know this is quite an arrestable offence. Edit: after seeing the video I am fucking outraged that this even got this far, its absolutely harmless, maybe a little ill-informed but jesus this is some clown world shit.

Well they would have arrested me and I'm sure hundreds if not thousands of other parents who scared their children. When mine were little I'd put on a wolf mask and jump from around a corner. They were terrified but they aren't scared of much now.

How is scaring a child illegal? Not saying they aren't dicks but unless you aren't physically or sexually harming the child I dont see why it should be illegal.

Being scared of dolls is natural. if the kids weren't scared, that would be a more worthy headline.
