Iranian minister makes public prisoner swap offer to US

The US State Department has said that Iran should release all ’innocent U.S. persons’ held in the country after Iran’s foreign minister claimed Wednesday to have offered a prisoner swap six months ago. Javad Zarif, speaking at the Asia Society in New York City, said Tehran had not yet received a response from Washington. Four Americans are known to be held in Iran.

As I'd the world needed a proof that Iran arrests foreigners in hope to trade in their spy exchange deals.

I imagine Trump will not be the pushover Obama was in this department. Obama gave a bunch of known terrorists traded for 1 US deserter! Don't try to pull that shit on Trump.

I bet the proposal of Iran will not be a one - for - one exchange. Somehow Islamist run countries don't value the lives of their own people as much as those of foreigners.
