Veteran says he drove into people deliberately injuring 8 but did not say why

A former Army sharpshooter with a history of PTSD plowed his car at high speed into a group of pedestrians in a Silicon Valley suburb, injuring eight people, then told authorities that he intentionally hit them, police said. He gave no reason why. He was charged Thursday with eight counts of attempted murder. Four of the pedestrians remained hospitalized, including a 13-year-old girl.

""he had “a bad episode” with PTSD about two years ago and has told her that he had been regularly taking medication since then." When I see a story where someone acts erraticly, as if in a dream, it is never a suprise to me when I discover medication is involved.

Something I didn't have time to include in the summary is that from the best I could tell about half of those 8 people who were injured were children. This guy drove his car into a group of children. On purpose.
