Kim Jong-un meets Vladimir Putin at Vladivostok summit

Russian President Putin and North Korean leader Kim Jong Un met in the Russian city of Vladivostok on Thursday. The talks between the two are expected to center around resolving Pyongyang’s nuclear standoff with South Korea. NK had a common border with Russia. I don't believe that the Russians would be happy to have a rogue nukes in their neighborhood any more than the US, so good luck, cheeky boy.

I'm guessing that Trump's Nobel Peace Prize for denuclearizing NK will have to wait... or maybe Putin can win it instead... that or it'll turn out that Kim's been posturing the whole time to try to get sanctions lifted and receive obligation-free humanitarian aid like NK's been doing for over 3 decades. I can appreciate the optimism but necrofascist dictatorships don't often change their ways.

Let them keep their nukes. The technology exists. Pandora’s Box has been opened.
