Musk reaches deal with SEC over Twitter use

Tesla CEO Elon Musk has reached a deal with the US SEC to settle a dispute over his use of Twitter. Musk has agreed to submit his public statements about the company’s finances and other topics to vetting by its legal counsel. If approved by a judge, the deal means Musk no longer faces the prospect of being held in contempt for violating an earlier settlement with the agency.

He should’ve just fought the SEC. The “deal” is a clear violation of his 1st Amendment rights, making it even more unconstitutional than the existence of the SEC.

If your an investor that makes decisions based on careless tweets you're an idiot. If you the SEC defending these idiots then you're basically a criminal organization just trying to steal money.
