US announces export of up to 60M AstraZeneca COVID-19 vaccine

The US will release up to 60M doses of the AstraZeneca COVID-19 vaccine, following mounting criticism that the country has been hoarding shots. It was not immediately clear how many doses are ready to be shipped or where they will go. The move comes as countries like India experience massive surges in Covid cases while US supply appears increasingly assured and domestic demand begins to taper off.

Why is the US always the world's babysitter when WE are the ones that are bankrupt? When is enough debt enough? Our current deficit broke 100% of GDP! That means a tax rate of 102.##% for ALL citizens (including those in abject poverty) would ONLY cover the cost, NOT the interest! Vote ZERO new spending in ALL further elections. The entire federal government could shut down for years... and we would still be in debt!

Who the f*** cares.. We need to get ALL of our citizens, who wants the vaccine, first before we even help out. But I doubt that's going to happen as usual
