New York Times issues apology over cartoon that used anti-Semitic tropes

The New York Times opinion section editors apologized for an offensive cartoon which appeared in the international print version on April 25. The cartoon depicted Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu as a dog with a Star of David collar and US President Trump pulling on his leash wearing a yarmulke on his head. NYT responded, ’The image was offensive, and it was an error of judgment to publish it.’

As Tim Pool, a guy on the left, states almost daily, some of the most bigoted people are those progressives on the left, and they often show their true colors thinking that the majority of people will agree.

Lol. Maybe the error in judgement apology would be believable decades ago. But when it happens almost daily... NYT, you dirty rag, you'd need to work very hard to regain my trust. What we see here is simply reactive damage control.

Too little too late. Also, is the President a Jewish shill or leading an antisemitism comeback? I have now been told both by your piece of shit paper.

You don't see any Jews pulling a Charlie Hebdo on the NYT, and you don't see President Trump moving against NYT's press freedom. So tell me, who are our real enemies?

While I am bound by my own principles to accept this apology and assume it’s in good faith, I think it is fair to ask what processes need to be amended within the company that lead this be published like that in the first place.
