Former NY school bus driver admitted to raping 14-year-old girl

A former NY school bus driver was reportedly sentenced to probation on Thursday after he admitted to raping a student. Shane Piche, 26, pleaded guilty to third-degree rape in February. Piche received 10 years of probation and must register as a sex offender. The man admitted as part of a plea deal to raping a 14-year-old girl he met while driving.

Was it aggressive or was he in a relationship with the girl. In the US they would call both rape. One is objectively worse than the other. In Germany, France, a relationship wouldn't even be a crime.

This guy is lucky that girl is not my daughter. 10 years probation would not be an acceptable level of justice for me. I'd have to rectify that another way and I'm not sure he would survive it.

Yeah because probation will keep the community safe. It's almost identical to solid concrete walls and iron bars. Except he gets to walk free and live a happy normal life, one like what that girl had robbed from her when this uncooked biscuit decided to ruin it.
