Synagogue shooting suspect pleads not guilty

19-year-old John T. Earnest, accused of opening fire inside a Southern California synagogue over the weekend, was ordered held without bail Tuesday. The judge labeled him ’an obvious and extraordinary risk to public safety’, after Earnest pleaded not guilty to one count of murder with a special circumstance of a hate crime and three counts of attempted murder.

I wonder what he thinks he's not guilty of? Big and bad shooting people (allegedly, right?), but can't admit to it all of a sudden.

AFAIK, not guilty plea means that he may claim different charge. It is one of those lawyers' things that don't make sense to anyone but them.

These people really deserve to be made fun of, not turned into antiheros. Look at that smug face. Cockbreath, you managed to kill 1 person in a crowded room, even if we totally ignore your shit belief system... You are a pathetic mass killer. Come to think of it, why are some many mass murderers shit at the one thing they are trying to do? Maybe because anyone who isn't a loser doesn't want to kill random people? I know these are horrible thoughts, but seriously, If I was a mass murderer, I'd put effort in and do a decent job of it.
