CVS Health beats profit estimates, raises full-year forecast

CVS Health on Wednesday raised its full-year profit forecast and reported first-quarter earnings. CVS said it now expects full-year adjusted profit of $6.75 to $6.90 per share, compared with its prior forecast of $6.68 to $6.88. Net income rose 42.4 per cent to $1.42 billion in the first quarter. Revenue rose 34.8 per cent to $61.65 billion.
