Fortnite creator Epic Games has bought Rocket League studio Psyonix for an undisclosed amount. This marks yet another attempt from Epic to establish its space in the PC games market that has until recently, revolved around Steam.
Buying the developer is fine. Stopping sales on Steam, not so much. Epic games is, despite their name, decidedly not epic.
Well Epic is part of my list of 2 publishing companies I actively boycott for their unethical and anti consumer practices.
The other is EA of course.
Great I can't wait to give all my data to china so I can play turbosoccer
This is really going to annoy a lot of people
thankfully already have it in my library; won't ever be giving epic a dime though
And yet people still try to defend Epic as if what they're doing is good for consumers.
I hate that game. Psyonix discontinued my favorite online game to focus on Rocket League.
It's just another game I'm never give a single penny to. I'm never buying a game on the Epic Games Store and I'm never buying a game owned by Epic Games.
