Nick Sandmann, Covington Catholic teen, files $275 million lawsuit

The legal representation for Covington Catholic student Nick Sandmann has filed another lawsuit over claims of defamation towards their client in January of 2019. Sandmann’s lawyers are seeking $200 million in punitive charges and $75 million in compensation from broadcasting company NBC.

Even with an out of court settlement the kid wins. As awesome as money is I wouldn't be surprised if there's a settlement that is primarily just a detailed apology and acceptance of all blame for such horrible reporting.

Jimmy Dore Actually did amazing coverage of this, and pointed out all the ways various media outlets were twisting the short clip, and played the entire things along with interviews from the kid and the guy drumming.
