Biden’s 100-day stock market run is the best for a US President since the 1950s

The stock market has had its best runs under US President Biden for the first 100 days of a presidency since the 1950s. The S&P 500 has returned around 24% so far in Biden’s tenure. The only administration that saw the S&P deliver such returns was John F. Kennedy, where the index saw an 18.5% rise during the same period. Trump’s presidency saw the index return 11.4% rise for the first 100 days.

when Trump first got in office and the stock market was doing good, didn't the lefties keep saying that it was because of Obamas economy...thier argument was that economy had nothing to do with the first year of a president being in office, because the budget of that year was set from the previous administration ..guess that doesn't apply now?

When EVERYTHING is going up vs the $US, it's not because the economy is doing well.

Keep watching it. I wonder what the media take will be when inflation numbers come out . Construction materials and energy costs going through roof. Jobs being lost in energy sector and domestic supply shrinking, thousands of small businesses closed or badly hurt by covid, trillions $ being printed by Gov...wait for it- its coming. China and globalist corps are only ones who win here.

Yeah, this is dumb. 1. The Democrats made it clear that any and all market success during a presidents first year in office is credited to the previous president. So we can thank Obama for the 11% that Trump saw, and thank Trump for the 24% that Biden is seeing now. 2. Stock prices, like any asset or product, will go up in price as the dollar inflates. We are seeing more inflation than ever due to covid recovery lefislation, so this isn't even that suprising. 3. Biden is introducing tax hikes and more regulation as well as killing many key contracts between companies. Even if the beforementioned points weren't true, the stocks are not going up because of him. Absolutely nobody except hardcore, democrat-kissing Bloomberg really expects Biden to do anything good for the market.

This has zero to do with the economy and zero to do with normal stock market movement. This has EVERYTHING to do with the federal reserve buying historic amounts of debt in the last year (800 billion+) While printing money at an insane rate. They have artificially inflated the stock market and created unbelievable poverty though inducing inflation. Imagine if this article was intellectually honest and told the whole story about inflation and massive debt increases.🤷🏾‍♂️ Bid'n's administration has served to accelerate our next massive economic depression.

I voted Biden, but seriously? A pandemic is ending. Big bird could be President and would’ve had the best 100 day stock run

The left after claiming the president's actions don't actually affect the stock market (they also don't understand how it works) for 4 years praising biden in 3... 2... 1...

Well durrr... we are coming out of an artificial depression no matter what Biden does the economy will come out booming... he is like a guy who stands at the front of the parade and thinks he did anything for the parade... Anyone notice his approval rating and the statistics which shows his first 100 days is the worst since Eisenhower.... he is by far not a well liked president with only his base keeping him at the same approval rating since the election...

Biden has nothing to do with the stock market. It does its own thing.

Not one negative article on Biden in first 100 days. Is that because Biden is such a saint, or is it the choice of state sponsored media to not defame their golden boy's character?

Ok, so it happened under Biden. Open invitation to all leftists to explain exactly what Biden did to make that happen.........seriously, any takers?

Everyone realizes with this massive amount of spending in just a few short months that inflation will hit and it'll hit hard. This stock "surge" is no different. Just billionaires inflating their own inflation micro bubble. Give it a couple years it'll all make sense to you.

Thank you mister president! Your good work is appreciated. Hopefully this great economy won't be too affected by vice-president Biden's blunders.

Don't think it really matters who is president for this since as soon as states started to reopen economies this was going to happen either way but if you eally wanna give credit shouldn't it go to the one who pushed for a vaccine at a rate faster then any other in recorded history? Just saying

"Thank you Mr. Trump" is what Biden should be saying.

It’s be Cause if Trumps policies. You saw the market crash this week after Biden introduce his capital gains tax policy. See you all by summer when the market is gone and unemployment hits double digits
