Global markets tumble after Trump threatens more China tariffs

Wall Street saw a sharp sell-off on Monday after President Trump said he would hike US tariffs on $200 billion worth of Chinese goods this week. Trump’s comments come ahead of a scheduled meet between representatives of the two nations in Washington on Wednesday. Earlier, stocks in China plummeted with the Shanghai composite falling 5.58 per cent at close.

Frankly at this point the US economy is doing so well it can probably absorb any hit that it takes from tariffs. If that is what it takes to get a better trade deal then fine.

I 100% expected this to happen😂 Trump does''t deal with a Chinese either trying to keep them on a leash or keep them on their toes. World War 3 starts now it begins with a trade War
