China Mobile denied permission to provide services in the US

US communications regulators on Thursday rejected a Chinese telecom company’s application to provide service in the US due to national security risks. The FCC on Thursday voted unanimously to reject China Mobile International USA Inc.’s long-ago filed application. The Commerce Department had recommended that denial last year.
