Dear Trump, do you have any experience in business and economics? Oh you do? Oh than carry on! Apparently you do in fact know what you're doing!

Ah so that's why he lost $1billion in 10 years. Sorry couldn't help myself. But on a serious note while idiotic politicians are taking those decisions it's small businesses, farmers and everyday people who are going to pay the price for this.

Yes, and after that he gained 4 billion in 10. In the world of business you win some, you lose some. All that matters is that your winnings exceed your losses.

Nah Phillip pretty sure it’s the Chinese that are going to pay the price. Our economy is doing great, theirs is slowing down. People have more money in their pockets, you’re angry and nonsensically rambling about trump bad.

The moron claimed that China is paying the Tariffs and that he will use that money to help the farmers. Reality is the tariffs are stealing money from American Companies and Consumers than turning that money over to Corporate Farms in Corporate Welfare Checks. It's all a big finger to Americans. And Trump supporters are eating that shit sandwich up.

I see you must have invented a way to bake a cake without breaking any eggs🐣

No, I just see through Trump's bullshit, which you take and make a hearty shit sandwich of and wolf it down.

Funny how all the people unhappy with the US imposing tariffs on Chinese goods are the same wanting Trump to fail and lose 2020... Really makes you think!

because we have bigger priorities like fixing our infrastructure that's over 50 years old in many cases and will probably fail very soon causing an actual national crisis while innocent kids are overseas fighting for something they don't even understand

@blaze oh please, when Trump suggested bringing the troops in Syria back the leftists on this app were crying about the poor kurds being abandoned. Just come out and say it, you hate Trump and whatever he does will always be the wrong thing in your eyes.

you seem to completely miss the point. disruptive actions are not preferable to predictable courses of action. we could have negotiated with China without destroying the soybean industry and costing the average American another $2800 a year in tariffs. withdrawing over time vs immediately is clearly the better course of action. have you learned nothing in your years?

Stated effects of this are overestimated. all these calculations are done with the assumptions let trade continues as normal. Problem is that's not how it works. When the US begins a trade War it has a secondary option that no other nation has. that secondary option is nafta. medium to large companies are able to redirect the goods through Mexico(has multiple free trade agreements) and back over the us border. This is still slightly more costly since it has to cross two National boundaries but the free trade agreement between America and Mexico minimizes it and keeps it stable while the direct trade relationship remains in flux. No other country has the ability to use its wealthy neighbors infrastructure to redirect supply routs and counter trade fights. we won't feel a thing boys small businesses will still eat the brunt of the tax though unfortunately

Uhh Trump man... Don't continue with this. It's gonna blow up. Have you considered how this might impact the pricing for consumers? It'll be a big hit!
