Sudan’s military agrees to three-year transition

Sudan’s Transitional Military Council has agreed with the Declaration of Freedom and Change Forces opposition alliance that the country’s transition period will last three years. Lieutenant General Yasser al-Atta said DFCF will have two-thirds of the seats on a legislative council. A final agreement on the balance of power is expected to be reached within 24 hours.
