Leaders and tech firms pledge to tackle extremist violence online

Major tech firms on Wednesday pledged to come up with new measures for stamping out violent extremist content on the internet. Executives from Google, Twitter, Facebook and Microsoft met with the leaders of France, New Zealand and other countries in Paris to unveil the ’Christchurch Call’. ’The call is a roadmap to action,’ NZ Premier Jacinda Ardern said at the meet.
