Ministers agree way for Russia to rejoin Europe’s human rights body

Over 30 European foreign ministers have gathered in the Finnish capital to mark the 70th anniversary of the Council of Europe. The festivities were dampened somewhat by Russia’s threat to pull out of the organization over a long-running dispute over Crimea. However, the ministers have come to an agreement which means Russia will likely take part in the council’s parliamentary assembly in June.
