’The world still has not done anything’, says Khashoggi’s fiancee

Hatice Cengiz, the fiancee of Jamal Khashoggi, said on Thursday she could not believe that no one has yet faced serious consequences for the crime. ’I cannot understand that the world still has not done anything about this’, Cengiz told a US House of Representatives Foreign Affairs subcommittee. Cengiz called for sanctions to punish Saudi Arabia.

"the world" is not a monolith, countries aren't lgoing to risk important diplomatic relations with one another because of one dead man, take that as you will, it's just how "the world" works.

That’s because The Saudi regime is floating on oil. If you want to know who your masters are find out who you are not allowed to criticise. Oh by the way I do actually care it bothers me a lot that these macho clowns can get away with whatever they like.

The world has done nothing regarding Saudi ties to the 9/11 perps, so having expectation even on it doing anything about a columnist and media person is about 100 times less realistic. Such is the game with the Wahhabi Oil Cartel. The Saudi-Western alliance is also the most transparent and effective example to get an observer to lose any illusions and delusions they had of justice and righteousness regarding certain parties in their minds. Enjoy the ride mrs. Hatice.
