Trump effectively bans Huawei with national security order

US President Trump signed an executive order Wednesday declaring a national emergency and barring US companies from using telecom equipment made by firms posing a national security risk. The move effectively paves the way for a ban on doing business with China’s Huawei Technologies. Huawei responded saying it was ready to engage with the government to come up with measures to ensure security.
