Brexit talks between the UK’s two main parties collapse

Talks between Britain’s government and opposition aimed at striking a compromise Brexit deal broke down without agreement Friday. Opposition Labour Party leader Jeremy Corbyn said the talks with PM Theresa May’s government have ’gone as far as they can’. That deadlock intensifies pressure on May from within the Conservative Party to quit.

While not as aggressively truthful as I'd like, the headlines do at least point to the source of the problem. Labour never wanted brexit so their strategy is to stall as long as possible in hopes of winning an election and calling for another referendum or just plain stalling until the people give up on leaving.
