Official count gives President Widodo victory in Indonesian election

Indonesia’s Election Commission says the official count from last month’s presidential election shows President Joko Widodo won 55.5 per cent of the vote, securing him a second term. Widodo’s challenger, former general Prabowo Subianto, has refused to accept defeat and declared himself the winner last month.

I'm so glad JW won. Pabowo's a bad dude. He has ties to the old military dictatorship, and has human rights violations. Electing him would have been a step backwards for Indonesia.
