Michigan congressman calling for Congress to impeach Trump

Justin Amash, who represents Michigan’s 3rd congressional district, tweeted he believes ’President Trump has engaged in impeachable conduct’. Amash’s claim formed part of a bullet point list of his reaction after reading the redacted version of the Mueller report. Amash also accused many of his fellow congressmen of not reading the report. President Trump responded Sunday calling Amash a ’loser’.

It’s so courageous and bold that only half the country has been saying it 24/7 for the last two and a half years! A real trailblazer!

Says a RINO that put Obamacare in place in MA as governor, knowing full well it would give state residents the highest insurance premiums in the nation.

Can’t wait for him to find out that he’ll never be far left enough now that he’s started down that path.

This congressman has been reported to have major business deals in China, which are now at risk of losing profits. I wonder why he would want Trump impeached?

"Contrary to [Attorney General William] Barr’s portrayal, Mueller’s report reveals that President Trump engaged in specific actions and a pattern of behavior that meet the threshold for impeachment," Amash tweeted, drawing a stinging rebuke from the president. Can anyone tell me what these specific actions are and what pattern of behavior he is talking about? I’m sure he posted examples or sources I’m just not finding what he is talking about.

I had much higher expectations of Amash. But he's thinking too much like a lawyer. What he doesn't get is that it's a miscarriage of justice to take someone down for "obstructing" an investigation of a crime that didn't happen, and was conceived out of political motivation only. It sets a precedent that fishing expeditions are a viable tactic for removing an elected official, and rewards that behavior.

The difference between a deal and a demand? Compromise. Amash has confused "compromising his ideals" with "striking a compromise deal". He hates Trump; I get that. But hating Trump so much he would rather damage his own agenda than compromise? That, I don't get.

Mueller is a prosecutor if he found crimes and didn’t prosecute he didn’t do his job. Or the media is lying.

Wasn't this a plotline on 24? Can someone please verify that his family isn't being held captive until he releases the nuclear codes or votes for impeachment, or worse, endorses The Green New Deal.

Gotta love the RINOs thinking that they can virtue signal as "good conservatives" by betraying their colleagues. The left never holds it's own accountable, bc they're collectivists without an objective ethic. The right does bc we're principled individualists, but too many conservatives accept the leftist framing of the narrative that conservatives are always two steps removed from nazism, and that the left is somehow inherently good and anti totalitarian, they're always trying to portray themselves as good in the the leftist world view, and they'll never be good enough for the people that eat their own in purity spirals, think anything right of Marx is nazism, and who think throwing things onto people is a prank while speech is somehow violence.
