Nevada passes bill giving electoral votes to popular-vote winner

Nevada will send a legislation to the governor’s desk that would give the state’s Electoral College votes to the winner of the popular vote. The Nevada Senate passed the legislation by 12-8 on Tuesday, which would include the state in the National Popular Vote Interstate Compact and allocate its electors to the national popular-vote winner in the next presidential election.

I'd much rather States assign their electors proportionally, but I think this is part of a movement to undermine the electoral college system one state at a time until they all choose the winner based on the popular vote. which isnt the worst idea, but it's a little awkward to say the least if only a few states are doing it. https://youtu.be/3Y3jE3B8HsE also, ranked choice voting would be cool. it helps mitigate the spoiler effect and would make more third party candidate technically viable.
