Twitter buys AI startup Fabula that spots fake news

Twitter said in a blog post June 3 that it acquired machine learning startup Fabula AI for an undisclosed sum to help it detect network manipulation. In February, the London-based startup unveiled its patented Geometric Deep Learning technology that is able to identify fake news 93 per cent of the time within hours of its release.
