Thousands hold Tiananmen Square vigil in Hong Kong

Thousands joined a somber candlelight vigil in Hong Kong on Tuesday to mark the 30th anniversary of Chinese troops opening fire on student-led democracy protesters in and around Tiananmen Square. Hong Kong and Macau are the only places in Chinese territory where people can commemorate the activists killed in 1989.

The fact that China wants to shut down this event and deny the massacre is disgusting. Props to these defiant souls.
