White House tells ex-aides not to comply with subpoenas

The White House has reportedly told former staffers, including Hope Hicks, not to comply with subpoenas from House Judiciary Democrats. Hicks’ attorney said in a letter to Jerrold Nadler that she would not hand over documents related to Trump’s time in the White House as they may be subject to a claim of executive privilege. They are instead handing over documents from Trump’s campaign period.
