China successfully launches first module of Tiangong-3 space station

China’s National Space Administration said it has successfully launched the first module of its planned Tiangong-3 space station on Thursday from the Wenchang launch site in the southern island of Hainan. The core module, currently the largest spacecraft developed by China, was launched into low earth orbit by a Long March-5B rocket. China began laying the foundation for this launch a decade ago.

While obviously not as transparent as one could hope for and sometimes with some unclear intentions, Chinas space program is underreported and with great scientific value. CCP is still bad and there are lots of reasons to dislike or even boycott them. Still, credit where credit is due.
