Parkland deputy charged for inaction during school massacre

An armed officer who stood outside a Florida school as a gunman killed 17 people has been arrested and faces multiple charges. Scot Peterson, a security guard at the Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School, did not enter as shots rang out last year and later resigned. Peterson was arrested on Tuesday on seven counts of neglect of a child, three counts of culpable negligence and one count of perjury.

I dont think he should be charged. Its not criminal to not try and save lives. Everybody freezes sometimes and it takes a special crazy to run towards gunfire. You never know your mental limitations until they are in your face. Its easy to say what you would have done, but you dont know. You can prepare your brain but no amount of training can prepare you for the real deal.
