Trump clarifies ’nasty’ comments about Meghan Markle

President Trump said Britain’s Prince Harry was a terrific guy and denied casting his American-born wife, Meghan, as a nasty person. Trump claimed the media had distorted his words as he actually felt she was very nice. Before arriving in Britain, Trump, on being told of Meghan’s criticism of him, said, ’I didn’t know that. What can I say? I didn’t know that she was nasty’.

If you actually watch the clip, it's unmistakeable that what he said was in response to being told that she had made 'nasty' comments about him during the election, and he had just been complimenting her. He was asked if he knew about those comments and he replied no, he didn't know she was nasty, with the clear inference being that he didn't know that she had been nasty in her comments to him. Nasty, at least in my experience, often means rude and hateful. Maybe it's a difference in language or syntax, but there is more than enough to dislike Trump for without having to take him so blatantly out of context.

He called her nasty for speaking her mind, no misquote, your attempt at spin is worse than Trumps. And to be fair I doubt if Trump even remembers, its part of his dementia.

he said what she was nasty, which is fair. Read the exact quote, this is fakenews

True equality, it doesn't matter what race, gender, age, wealth level or title you have, Trump doesn't like you or something you say he's gonna call you on it, publicly, for all to see!
