Japan’s health minister has recently said that wearing heels is appropriate and necessary for working women in the country
Without high heels, how do we hope to have height equality between men and women? kek
I love Japan, please never change
Eh I'd say a high heel *option* is a necessity at work. So if she wants to wear heels she can. But they should be allowed flats if they're on their feet all day, like working as a waitress.
I mean if you're behind a desk all day no one sees your feet, but then you can just take the heels off.
>inb4 westerners get offended and try foreign intervention in Japanese culture
dress codes are annoying, but a company should be able to have any dress code they want. as long as employment is voluntary.
If anime has taught me anything. You can fight in those.
Well shit I'm not a woman but I feel like if you wear high heels more often. That shit is gonna get to your legs eventually.
Throw eggs at that stupid cow who posted the petition to boost her shitty career.
I disagree, but I'm also not a Japanese citizen so it's not really my call. I think it should be up to the person what they want to put on their body provided they are appropriately covered.
I, personally, would be the one quitting the job or getting a different one because I cannot wear high heels. I would die in high heels. talk about pain.
Japanese women need high heels otherwise they have no ass!
dress codes in general are some major bs
As high heeled shoes were culturally appropriated from western society they should go back kimonos and those little wooden sandals
