New York City seizes ice cream trucks due to $4.5 million in unpaid fines

New York City officials announced on Wednesday that 46 ice cream trucks are being seized for failure to pay an aggregated $4.5 million in fines. The state administration said it has already started taking the trucks from operators who have been accused of consistently violating traffic safety laws. As of Wednesday morning 34 of the 46 trucks were towed.
