Mexico deploys forces on Guatemala border to avoid US tariffs

Mexico has deployed 6,000 members of its National Guard on its border with Guatemala in an attempt to stem the flow of migrants heading to the US. The move comes as Mexican Foreign Minister Marcelo Ebrard is in Washington trying to stop the US from placing trade tariffs on Mexican goods over illegal migration.

Glad they're being forced to deal with this issue. Millions of their citizens illegally live in the US and prop up their economy with remittances, the least they can do is secure their border, given that it's more geographically akin to a bottle neck.
