Trump meeting with China’s Xi will be key for trade talks, says Mnuchin

Treasury Secretary Steven Mnuchin said Saturday the main progress on a trade dispute between Washington and Beijing would occur between President Trump and Chinese President Xi Jinping at the G-20 summit later this month. Mnuchin said that Trump’s expected meeting with Xi will be the ’next important meeting’ in the trade dispute.

Or the Pentagon could invest the money into endless wars which only makes the military/industrial complex rich and ends up killing American soldiers in countries most Americans have barely heard of. However, we could treat the DOD as an actual DEFENCE force and actually defend America's borders against mass invasion. Considering Trump has not started any more foreign wars and is trying to withdraw from Iraq, Afghanistan and Syria I would estimate that there will be money to spare once the troops return. What better way to use that excess money than to defend the southern border.

It's not a trade war, it's simply forcing China to do what they originally agreed to do.

Trade talks wouldn't be necessary if China did what they agreed to do when they signed the original trade agreement.

So no wall is needed, great. Let's take all that money Trump wants to steal from the Pentagon put it back to its intended use of building and fixing structures that support the men and women in the service. Then he can work with Congress and start an infrastructure program that he has been touting and the House has already put together a plan to pay for. Good job Donnie.
