Walmart overhauls Jet.com as online business fails to deliver results

Walmart on Wednesday announced a sweeping overhaul at Jet.com, an online start-up it acquired in 2016 for $3.3 billion, after it failed to live up to planned ambitions. Walmart said it will integrate Jet.com’s retail, technology, marketing, analytics and product teams with its own online business. The current president of Jet.com, Simon Belsham, will leave in early August.

not one of these stories addresses the critical reason jet sales are down. they used to deliver cold and frozen food just about everywhere. Walmart killed this. (preferring you drive to a store) . it's become clear to me that Walmart didn't buy it to expand it's own e-commerce , it aquired jet to kill a competitor.
