Crenshaw returns to panel duty after eye surgery that left him blind

Representative Dan Crenshaw (R-Texas) returned to his House committee after recovering from eye surgery due to his lingering combat injuries sustained in a bomb attack in Afghanistan, in 2012. The surgery rendered his right eye blind. He said it was a sacrifice of military service. He said it was ’good to be back’ with his panel colleagues but added that they don’t ’need to feel bad’ for him.

Love the guy, as much as I know of him, anyway. But clean up your headlines! The headline would make you believe that he is now blind, but he is blind only in one eye- the one he has mostly covered...

Glad to hear Rep. Crenshaw is recovering. He brings a very necessary breath of fresh air to the current political discourse.
