Stephen Bratton arrested for child sex abuse.

Bad people can still have good ideas. He was right about abortion.

"Aaron Wright, another pastor at the Grace Family Baptist Church, told the newspaper that Bratton has been excommunicated." I'm also wondering why the headlines added the "backed criminalization of abortion" line? One thing has nothing to do with the other. Seems like an excuse to throw shade at the abortion bill. That's called a logical fallacy.

Why is this a headline? The two are completely unrelated

His views on abortion are not relevant. His abuse is shame enough, you don't have to smear the side of the abortion debate he was on as well. A child was abused and you politicized it, you dirty, dirty smear merchants!

What does the fact he supported anti-abortion bills have anything to do with the fact he’s a pedophile? Are you trying to say that prolifers are pedophiles?

Thus, by their fruit you will recognize them. “Not everyone who says to me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ will enter the kingdom of heaven, but only the one who does the will of my Father who is in heaven. Many will say to me on that day, ‘Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in your name and in your name drive out demons and in your name perform many miracles?’ Then I will tell them plainly, ‘I never knew you. Away from me, you evildoers!’ - Matthew 7:20-23

Thanks pastor for giving them ammo against a good cause. And also, fuck you or giving Christians a bad name too.

Well his opinions on abortion are completely unrelated to the child abuse, so I'm not sure why that got included in there. You can't be a Catholic and pro-abortion, they're antithetical ideas.

The Southern Baptist Convention literally just had a meeting about excommunication of sexual predatora from the church and any church that defends them or does not take appropriate legal action to be removed from the convention as well. Just so you know. We Christians are acrive against these sickkos.

Another 'good Christian". How he loves the lord. Pathetic. I hope he rots in prison.

I heard he also likes animals. So by association, if you also like animals, then you're just as bad as this pervert. Logic.

The world generally frowns upon any sort of abortions. It's naturally taken more seriously with babies

It makes sense. Trying to force your religion onto others - such as anti-abortionists do - isn't much different than forcing yourself on a child.

sorry but I think I misread, did that say Texas or Kentucky?

Well — I guess according to their insane logic ... the children he assaulted should have his babies. Yikes!!!
