Capitol rioter Ashli Babbitt’s family to sue Capitol police over her death

The family of Ashli Babbitt is reportedly planning on suing the US Capitol Police and an officer for at least $ 10 million. Babbitt was fatally shot by the police officer while she was participating in the Jan. 6 invasion of the U.S. Capitol. The Department of Justice had earlier said that it would not file criminal charges against the officer who killed Babbitt.

Good, hope they get it. If a r.pist woman abuser and criminal can get millions and calls from the president, it's just hypocrisy if they don't.

So many hateful and hypocritical leftists on here. They come out in the defence of numerous criminals when they get what they deserve, but when its conservatives peacefully protesting they gleefully want them punished.

She was an unfortunate victim of #45's presidential grift. Her death is the result of #45 and his sycophants perpetuating the Big Lie of election fraud. That is the direct thru-line. Neither she nor any of the insurrectionists would have even been there if not for #45's inability to accept losing. He was and always will be a loser. He was good at marketing himself for a while there in the 90's & early 00's, but nowadays people of consequence see right thru him. He's a toxic has-been on his way to nobody-ville, and decades from now our history books will say things like SMH when discussing #45, with quotes like, "The fuck were we thinking?". If anything, Ashli's family should be suing #45's estate, or Giuliani for his "trial by combat" remarks, or any of the other seditious traitors pumping the rally crowd on January 6. Because remember January 6 was the day our government was supposed to certify the election. It wasn't a coincidence this planned attack (masquerading as a rally) on our capitol by seditious, unelected traitors was specifically arranged on the day all our elected government officials were there. This was not a protest. This was seditionists trying to subvert our democracy. They were trying to stall the certification of our legal, fraud-free election. Ashli paid the ultimate price for her naivety, but her family's legal team are aiming in the wrong direction.
