Man fined for hurling milkshake at Brexiteer Nigel Farage

Man fined for hurling milkshake at Brexiteer Nigel Farage

A man who threw a milkshake over Nigel Farage, the leader of Britain’s Brexit Party, has been ordered to pay him compensation to cover his suit-cleaning bill. Paul Crowther, 32, threw the milkshake on Farage at an event in the northern English city of Newcastle before the European elections last month. Crowther, who lost his job subsequently, was ordered to pay Farage $438.

I’m a left winger and milkshaking someone is wrong because it is assault. I voted for Brexit and I despise Sargon of Troll but I wouldn’t want, or support, milkshakes being thrown. Words and arguments are enough.

this is good despite it Being political violence I wouldn't advocate him being put in jail it was only milkshake after all of it was something dangerous then yes. Hopefully threat of being fined amd having to do community service should send a message to these idiots that this isn't OK

A fine for attacking a politician physically but the guy who called the prince a “race traitor” (disgusting Hong to say IMO but guy is entitled to his opinion) gets 4 years in jail?

Can Nigel take personal legal action, I’m unfamiliar with UK law. Also, just a fine for attacking a politician🤔

Amazing... assault is a crime, even in UK/ Don't forget that these same regressive leftist radicals are also the ones advocating acid attacks against political rivals.

One law for Nigel Farage and no law for anyone else. During the MEP campaign the were other milkshaking incidents, all caught on video. Carl Benjamin's attacker was not prosecuted. Tommy Robinsons attacker was not prosecuted. He was driven away from the scene by the police and taken the the train station to escape. Why is Farages attacker the only one prosecuted.

What about the guy who did it to Tommy Robinson then bragged about it on social media? What about Sargon or Milo's attackers? They should all be in jail right now!

One man plainly assaults someone in broad daylight on national TV: £438 fine after a couple weeks in court One man teaches his dog a dumb trick: over 2 years in court, physical arrest and jail stay, £800+ fine forcibly stolen from his bank account. THE ABSOLUTE STATE.

As a northerner I'm ashamed this happened in one of our cities. Glad this idiot lost his job and has been prosecuted. Likewise the threats against this lad and his family shouldn't be tolerated either.

He'll be unemployable now, that's the real punishment not the fine

At least he had the decency to plead guilty, I can respect that. A fine should be enough, I think. It's a very stupid act he did, don't assault anyone, words are enough. The world is crazy enough, less violence is better.
