PG&E to pay $1 billion to local governments for wildfires

California utility Pacific Gas and Electric (PG&E) has agreed to pay $1 billion to 14 local governments for igniting several devastating wildfires. The money will pay for losses related to a 2015 blaze in Butte County, a series of 2017 fires and last year’s Camp Fire in Northern California. The town of Paradise will be paid $270 million.

How much you want to bet that money isn’t going to make it to the forests. California is so corrupt you could probably buy a politician for less than a persons of negotiable affection.

Lets see; Customers of LG&E Pay there inflated bills. LG&E Pays the California government $1 Billion. California Gives out free healthcare, Illegal drugs and needles to no taxpayers. Conclusion. Burn down a forest and you get more homeless, crime and drug users. None of this money will ever go to the taxpaying residences that homes were damaged that payed the utility bill.
