Former Interpol chief admits guilt in China court hearing

Former Interpol chief Meng Hongwei admitted his guilt during a court hearing on Thursday after Chinese prosecutors accused him of taking $2.11 million in bribes. Interpol last October said Meng had resigned as its president, days after his wife reported him missing after he traveled back to his home country of China. The court is expected to announce its verdict at a later date.
