Excluding black jurors violated constitution, Supreme Court rules

The court voted to throw out the conviction due to a prosecutor’s efforts to keep African-Americans off the jury in the cases against Curtis Flowers, who was tried for the 1996 execution-style murders of four people in a furniture store in Mississippi. He has been in jail for more than 22 years. Justice Gorsuch and Justice Clarence Thomas were the two dissenting from the majority opinion.

Does anyone else find it interesting that the only African-American on the Court found no evidence of racial bias? I've loved Clarence Thomas since reading his dissent in Kelo v. New London. Red pilled before we even had a name for it.

Kavanaugh was very honest on this in noting that Evans had removed 41 of the 42 prospective black jurors over the six trials. I would agree, that is very telling record.

He should be tried by a jury of his peers. He was charged with a state crime in Mississippi, so the jury should be made up with similar (+/- 20%) demographics to the population of the state, excluding those found guilty of crimes before. Eg (numbers made up) Lets say Mississippi is: 50% male, 50% female and 70% white, 30% black But after eliminating everyone ever convicted the numbers change to: 45% male, 55% female And 85% white, 15% black Then I think the jury sould be made up of: 5-6 men, 6-7 women And 10-11 whites, 1-2 blacks This, to me, sounds fair. And no, we should not consider sexuality in the demographics of a jury, because anyone can say they're anything. We should only use provable biological traits to measure juror demographics.

Also the lawyers for each side should reserve the right to exclude potential jurors for whatever reason if they believe it will help their case. It’s how choosing juries work. Not really racist, just discriminatory. There’s a difference, and it has no malice towards the jurors.

Maybe those jurors were excluded for different reasons, and they just so happen to be black. You can't just say they were excluded just because they were black. You have no evidence of that. Stop seeing racism in everything.
