Methane gas found on Mars hints at possibility of life

NASA’s Curiosity Rover has discovered that Mars is emitting methane gas and that could be a sign that life is thriving somewhere on the planet. The latest readings of 21 parts per billion are the highest methane concentrations detected by Curiosity yet, three times a spike detected in 2013. NASA notes that Curiosity does not contain instruments which can say where the methane may have come from.

Four of the articles don’t match the other. I think this story should be about the methane.

Why did the bigger version of this story get disappeared? We were having a lovely discussion on comparing the headline if a single cell was found to be "Life on Mars found!" and the insistence that a human fetus is not a life by many people. Suddenly I can't find the story and it is gone from my saved stories. What's up, Newsvoice?
