Treasury’s Inspector General to review Harriet Tubman $20 bill delay

The internal watchdog at the Treasury Department will investigate the department’s decision to delay redesigning the $20 bill with a portrait of Harriet Tubman. The review by Treasury’s inspector general came in response to a letter sent by Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer. Schumer last week asked if the eight-year delay was spurred by political considerations by the Trump administration.

Hamilton should stay on the $10 bill; he is the architect of the U.S. treasury. Andrew Jackson would have abhorred having his face on a U.S. dollar bill to begin with

Keep Jackson on the $20 and put Tubman on the $10 as originally planned or maybe the $50.

Pure pandering. The democrats would promise Tupac's face on a five dollar bill if it kept their favorite voting pets happy.

Most people on either side wants to make a big deal of a piece of paper when majority of people shop with a card and never have to touch or see who is on any given bill. put what you want on the piece of paper most people only see digits in a bank account anyway.

It's not like anyone atleast any normal person would bother examining any dollar bills they get. They'll just pull it out of their wallet and insert it into the vending machine most likely.
