Massachusetts RMV head resigns over crash that killed 7

The head of the Massachusetts Registry of Motor Vehicles resigned Tuesday amid revelations that a truck driver accused of vehicular homicide was able to keep his commercial driver’s license despite a drunk driving arrest last month. The resignation of Erin Deveney is effective immediately. Deveney’s departure comes after the truck driver was charged on seven counts of vehicular homicide.
