No tariffs on gaming consoles, plead Microsoft, Nintendo, Sony

Microsoft, Nintendo and Sony have sent a letter to the Office of the United States Trade Representative requesting that video game consoles be removed from the list of products covered by tariffs. The companies say a tariff on consoles would stifle innovation and harm the larger gaming ecosystem.

In other news, car manufacturers would prefer not to be taxed in any way please and thank you. Also, the financial industry would like you to just give them money, and the drug industry would appreciate the abolishment of customs enforcement.
