Japan Display to receive $100 million investment from Apple

Japan Display is set to receive a $100 million investment from Apple, its biggest customer. Japan Display is facing a funding crunch due to Apple’s recent shift away from LCD and disappointing sales of the iPhone XR. Apple accounts for 60 per cent of Japan Display’s revenue. Representatives for Japan Display and Apple separately declined to comment.

Well, when the crapple contract forbids you from selling your product to the open market things are always going to be touch and go. It makes no sense for any investors but crapple to put up money. If you are not crapple and you put money in, you are just handing that money and control to crapple, the Chinese Communists party's largest tech firm.
