Protest at Oregon Capitol as climate bill stalls

Loggers, truckers and other opponents of a cap-and-trade bill in the Oregon legislature rallied on the steps of the state capitol Thursday as the deadline for its potential passage neared. Critics say the bill, aimed at limiting greenhouse gas emissions, would harm rural industries such as logging and farming. The bill has been on hold since Republicans walked out of the Senate and fled the state.

Now this is a good reason to protest. I would ask the left takes notes, but they and their "for the greater good, reality be damned" mentality is what caused this.

It's funny how the Democrats have a solid majority in the Oregon government and golly gosh, some people don't like what their duly elected government decides to do. Go figure...
