Pete Buttigieg announces $24.8 million fundraising haul

Pete Buttigieg raised $24.8 million from nearly 300,000 donors in the second quarter this year, more than doubling the number of individuals funding his White House bid. In a statement, Buttigieg’s campaign said more than 294,000 people donated between April and June, giving $47.42 on average. It also has more than $22.6 million cash on hand.

Why does anyone even really consider the $Millions fundraised? All that says is: "maybe they have thousands of $10 donors, or maybe they only have 5 really wealthy donors! $5 million x 5 donors (3 with $7 million) covers that fundraising easy... and there are plenty of people capable of shilling that for political campaigns. No meaningful information.
